Maarten Kruijtzer
Maarten Kruijtzer is a beer industry veteran with 30+ years experience on 4 different continents. After beginning his career with Heineken locally in The Netherlands, Maarten first gained experience with exports while working in Taiwan/Russia and following success there was appointed Commercial Director overseeing 10 markets in Africa. Maarten then became VP of On Premise Sales at Heineken USA, and ultimately concluded his Heineken career in 2010 running the Lorraine Brewery on the French Caribbean island of Martinique. Being subsequently an independent entrepreneur, Maarten saw an opportunity to export US craft products to markets in Europe, Asia, Americas/Caribbean, and Australia/Oceania and launched CraftCanTravel in 2011 as the first international independent distribution company focused on US craft exports. At CraftCanTravel Maarten is responsible for supplier’s contacts, export strategy, operational planning, and distribution network management. In addition to CraftCanTravel Maarten also co-owns the St. Christoffel craft brewery in The Netherlands and operates a European malt import agency (Holland Malt USA). Maarten lives and works in Rye, NY, USA.
Ross Quinn
Ross joined CraftCanTravel at the start of 2022 as Country Manager UK, coming from an extensive background within the UK beer industry. Ross’s responsibilities include supporting the UK importer (growing its already considerable Kona business) in addition to servicing the EU CraftCanTravel distributor network. Prior to his work at CraftCan Travel Ross worked at Molson Coors and Estrella Damm as a Sales Business Manager and prior to that for the Belgium family run brewery, Duvel Moortgat, as an Accounts Manager. Ross resides and works from Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom and can often be found surfing the waves of the North East Coastline (as cold as it gets).
Supply Chain
Sally Bartsch
Sally had an extensive senior management career in the banking industry before joining CraftCanTravel in 2015. Now managing the Supply Chain and Logistics team for CraftCanTravel Sally has developed an industry ‘stand alone’ know how regarding beer export supply chain; handling in-land trucking, warehousing, customs documents, container shipping, TTB issues, import procedures, regulations, forecasting, and ordering in some 45 markets. Sally resides and works in Rye, NY, USA.
Carol Sinclair
Carol is part of the Supply Chain team handling customer orders and shipments. Prior to joining CraftCanTravel Carol worked in Pension Administration/Consulting, which 20 years ago brought her from London to New York City. While in NY, Carol headed up an administration team working on the pension plan of a large multinational corporation before starting a family and moving out of the City. Carol joined CCT in 2017 and lives locally with her husband, 2 children, 2 cats and a dog!
Cathy Nix
Cathy is part of the Supply Chain team handling customer orders and shipments. Prior to joining CraftCanTravel Cathy worked in the printing industry managing and running her own shop. Cathy joined CCT in 2017 and lives locally with her family.

Bert Lips
Bert has more than 30 years experience in financial and administrative roles including senior officer responsibilities across a number of industries. Bert's expertise lies in international trading, Start Ups, and Real Estate. For CraftCanTravel Bert oversees the Financial reporting as a liaison between Commercial Management, Supply Chain, and external Parties. Bert resides and lives in Haarlem, The Netherlands.
